Anyone with a desire to deepen their personal practice and explore teaching offerings including mantra, meditation, philosophy, storytelling, supportive assists in asana, and breath is encouraged to attend. This training will oscillate between practice, lecture, and time for integrating new techniques within a supportive community of peers and trainers.

*Modules can be taken individually or as part of a 4 week immersion style program with a set cohort of students and a rotating faculty of trainers
*Pro-rated attendance will be granted upon request to join individual modules

Modules

  • Yoga of the Heart: Mantra and Kirtan

This module will examine various practices of Bhakti Yoga including Kirtan, mantra as meditation, and heart centered philosophy. From study into these heart practices, together we’ll look at ways of integrating these tools into our regular teaching offerings. Join Claire for a musical exploration into Bhakti yoga and the practice of yoga as devotion, handed down and adapted from teacher to student for thousands of years.

  • Prana: An Art and Science of Breath

This experiential module is a deep dive into the most essential and life sustaining force passing through us at all times, the breath (prana). Whether or not we take the time to understand how respiration works, breath passes in, breath passes out. Yet, understanding how breath interweaves with other nervous system functions, we can learn to engage with breath to benefit our health and well-being, on and off the mat.

  • Energetic Spaces: Contemplating the Impact of Atmosphere and Intention

Through a deep and conscious dive into our inner world, we will investigate the relationship between our actions as teachers and the energetic responses they invite in those around us. We will learn to navigate these realms with confidence and skill, which strengthens our ability to hold space with subtlety and grace.

  • Intuitive Alignment: Energetics of Assisting

Communication and connection are a vital part of the human experience. This training is designed to clarify and establish a foundation in energetic alignment and supportive assisting for all bodies. Using the framework of the Vayus (the directions of Prana) we will explore the relationship between non-verbal communication, compassionate touch, energetic anatomy and our own journey of healing.

  • Heart Muse: Develop and Encapsulate Class Inspiration

What does it mean to teach heart centric yoga and how do we as teachers execute that in our class plans? This training will support teachers to tap into the infinite source of their hearts and develop class plans that emulate their inspiration at play. Learn how to express your passion of yoga with a clear and focused intention that can create a greater impact.
