Yoga, Self-Care & Community:

with Vina Brown & Anna Leigh Brady

Workshop and Fundraiser for Indigenous Youth and Wellness

Saturday | October 5

1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Location:
Granary Ave Studio

Investment: $100 (+ tax)

Nourish yourself with an afternoon of self-care and community connection, supporting Rooted Resiliency, a non-profit dedicated to empowering Indigenous communities through holistic wellness. Over the course of a few hours, Indigenous wellness leaders and Rooted Resiliency co-founders, Vina and Anna Leigh, will guide you through a restorative journey as they share their cultural knowledge and expertise as certified yoga instructors. Following a grounding meditation to help find your center, they'll lead you into an intuitive exercise that taps into your inner wisdom, allowing you to reconnect with your deepest instincts. You’ll then move through a gentle restorative yoga practice, that encourages the release of tension and a return to balance. To close, experience a soothing sound bath, promoting deep relaxation and a sense of peace.

This workshop will raise funds to provide local Indigenous youth with the opportunity to participate in Rooted Resiliency’s upcoming gala. All proceeds go toward securing a table for the youth, providing these young members of the Lummi Nation a chance to engage in this powerful cultural event.
