Join Jacque and Kelly for a comprehensive 45-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training. Learn how to safely and skillfully guide prenatal students throughout all trimesters of pregnancy. This 45-hour immersion will support you in understanding how to modify postures and group classes to support healthy pregnancy and birth, anatomy, pranayamas, and much more.

This immersion is open to yoga teachers, serious students, and healthcare professionals such as midwives, doulas, or others interested in supporting expectant parents with yoga. A basic understanding of anatomy and alignment principles is required. Upon successful completion, you may apply these 45 hours toward Yoga Alliance continuing education hours OR can be applied toward a full 85-hour RPYT certification (additional training hours required). Please note that this training takes place at our Lynden Yoga Collective studio location.

Technical Teaching Skills + Practicum

The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to empower you with the technical skills required to teach prenatal yoga effectively. Our classes follow a workshop-style format, providing a blend of class observation, hands-on experiences, and teaching practice. All participants will receive a manual with additional resources and materials, as well as digital access to prenatal practices with Jacque and Kelly. In addition to diving into the benefits of yoga for pregnancy and childbirth, other topics covered include:

Maternal & Fetal Anatomy ||  Physiology of Childbirth ||  Pranayama and Meditation Practices for Pregnancy & Birth || Prenatal Yoga Class Sequencing ||  Postures to Aid Common Discomforts & Support Labor ||  Contraindications ||  Yoga Philosophy & the Divine Feminine
